With a long weekend, it is easy to squeeze in lots of wonderful.
I took a ride over the hill to visit this beautiful family today.
The drive was done alone
in almost all silence.
Moving along a road
that I have almost memorized- from the days when I was in college.
I kept the radio off and just let the
hum of the road mingle with
my thoughts
and lead me to my destination.
It was a good, solid visit.
Filled with giggles, coos and a few cleansing tears (only a few).
Right before I headed out the door, they asked me to snap a few shots of the three of them together.
