Yesterday, I was asked to do some photography for the office.
I thought it fitting that I would be spending the majority of my final day there doing what I love, doing what I am leaving them to begin on my own.
These are a bit different from my usual, and recent photography subjects, no kids, landscapes, self or anything breathing for that matter.
The colors, the metal and the details of things I don’t have the slightest clue how to operate fascinate me. I feel like I can look at them differently because of my lack of knowledge- which is kinda cool.
I stood on ladders, moved things into better light and switched my lenses on and off a million times to get the shot I wanted. I feel like I have so much to learn, but at the same time have come so far in my art.
I am pretty lucky that the people at my (old) office trust me enough to have me doing head shots and marketing material for them. Thanks guys, I’m going to miss seeing you all every day- but not too much, ha!
