Have you made it over to the Hours blog yet? We are three months in to this project and our worlds are starting to wake up and fill with light. When I was asked to be one of the contributors I was beyond flattered. It’s an honor to work in along side women photographers from all over the globe and to see their day unfold is something very special. One thing I love about this project is the quiet that space holds. It’s a perfect place to sip your Sunday morning coffee.

A little bit about the vision and the photographers involved:
This website is a collective project in which a group of photographers, who met on Flickr, each post a single image every month, taken during a particular hour of the day. We’re starting in January 2014 with 7am (so images posted that month will be taken between 7am and 8am) and then moving through the day by an hour each month: to 8am in February 2014, and so forth. Each month’s post is updated every Sunday. We hope that posting images taken in different places around the world, but at the same time of day, will both celebrate the diversity of our lives and bring us together as we share glimpses of our daily activities.

The month of March has an extra Sunday, so we are encouraging our followers to be sure to contribute to our Flickr group. We may just pick your image to be featured on the blog! You can also Like our Facebook page and follow us on Twitter at @thehours2014 or use the hashtag #thehours2014.
I felt the same way! It is so fun to see the mosaics together.
