I am over on the ViewFinders blog today discussing what my “why” is when it comes to photography. Sometimes, I need to remember what feeds me when it comes to this art from; and maybe you do too.
This sign pulled me in from down the street. The colors and the art, plus the yummy dappled sunlight coming through the trees. It developed a bit darker than I would have liked, but that is part of learning more about how my camera and film work together.
Keep chasing that light and keep your rollers clean (that’s a Polaroid shooter’s joke),
I almost always make a point to shoot a few images on film during my photo sessions. Weddings are no different, as a matter of fact, the magic of the day almost gauntness that I get something that instantly becomes a favorite.
Here are a couple of Polaroid photographs from last season’s weddings. Enjoy!
Keep chasing the light, Vanessa
*Thanks to Corey Fox for having me along as second shooter for both of these beautiful weddings.
